Funmood or Funweb?

Funmood or funweb seems almost identically included by most antimalwares as causing infections.

I don't know what their relations are and their relations to other almost always included web hosts like brothersoft and search box add-ons like mywebsearch. I'm not even sure if they're falls positives, but most of us wanted their toolbars out and gone for good but can't. We've not learned from reading their fine prints and we have to clean out what we want to. You can always go to them and ask for their own uninstallers.

In the case of funweb as causing viral infections on firefox version 17, my solution or the only solution is uninstallation by revo or other uninstaller that has advanced option to delete even registry and leftovers. After advanced uninstalling, you'll still have to open program data and program files to delete mozilla and firefox folders, and check if there are folders too in the user data local etc. and delete it too. After that download a new firefox installer and install after a restart.

If Google Chrome is also infected, it seems only an uninstall of the same kind above will really delete all creeping BHOs. Check toolbarcleaner if you have lots of these though I haven't tested them yet. Toolbarcleaner is claiming to clean 2 million bhos and still counting.

Of course all of these instruction are after you've ran all your antivirus and antimalwares even online atk or tdss and it's still there. This is the final blow you can do to say goodbye to funweb infection in firefox. I don't say though that funweb themselves are malwares. They're not. They're just targets or prone to attacks like firefox, chrome, yahoo, and internet explorer. That's not an expert opinion so quote what the experts say themselves. I'm just helping here if you really like to get rid of them. Go on and God bless with your deletion process.
